Firs one proved himself. The other has a huge task to do the same.

I can't judge Liam until I see season 2 but so far I'm not feeling the new Spartacus.Liam has a rough looking face and Andy's gentle face helped so much in reflecting Sparty's vulnerability.I've never seen Liam in anything else(I saw the Pasific but I can't figure out who he was in the show) so I can't comment on his acting,we'll have to wait for season 2 but he'll never be the Spartacus that was Andy.

BTW, in the Pacific, he was Lew,

one of zillion soldiers in episode 8 - Iwo Jima...I have the "Pacific" series.

Some make-up will do the trick....of course its all about acting skills. Andy was like an undiscovered diamond. Am confident about deKnight and his choice of Liam...the man knows **bleep** well what he is doing.
